
Christine Grady, a senior bioethicist at the National Institutes of Health and wife of Dr. Anthony Fauci, was dismissed by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
According to federal officials, Grady was let go partly due to her lack of investigation into the theory that COVID-19 originated from a lab leak in Wuhan. An HHS spokesperson stated that her removal was part of a broader NIH restructuring, shifting focus away from pandemic preparedness to more immediate concerns.
