President Donald Trump is set to meet with Republican House leaders on Tuesday, just ahead of a crucial vote on the Senate’s version of his proposed budget resolution.
Later that evening, Trump will attend a fundraiser hosted by the National Republican Congressional Committee, where he is expected to be the featured guest.
Many House Republicans are opposed to the Senate’s budget plan, and GOP leaders are counting on Trump to help sway their votes before Speaker Mike Johnson brings it to a vote, possibly as early as Wednesday.
