A member of President Donald Trump’s administration engaged in an online exchange with former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton over Elon Musk’s efforts to identify wasteful spending at USAID. The exchange occurred after Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) team was tasked with improving government efficiency.
Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy responded to Clinton’s criticism, defending Musk’s involvement. Duffy highlighted that DOGE personnel were working to help upgrade the department’s aviation systems, especially after two fatal plane crashes occurred during his brief tenure.
