President Donald Trump recently shared his thoughts on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, reaffirming his belief that Lee Harvey Oswald was the sole gunman but leaving room for the possibility of others being involved. In an interview aboard Air Force One, Trump spoke with Clay Travis of OutKick, stating that he had always believed Oswald acted alone, but questioned whether Oswald might have had assistance.
Trump’s comments add to the ongoing speculation about potential conspiracies surrounding Kennedy’s death. Over the years, theories have suggested involvement from various groups, including the CIA, Mafia, and foreign governments, though the official record maintains that Oswald was responsible alone.

During his presidency, Trump declassified a vast amount of previously secret documents related to JFK’s assassination. While the release of these 80,000 files was hoped to provide new insights, they did not reveal anything new or shocking. The release did, however, unintentionally expose personal Social Security numbers.
Trump’s push for transparency extended beyond the JFK case, with him declassifying documents on other high-profile events, such as the assassinations of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, as well as the 9/11 attacks. Despite the lack of new revelations, his actions have kept the debate about Kennedy’s assassination alive.
