Elon Musk continues to face criticism from several public figures, including his daughter, ex-partner Grimes, and influencer Ashley St. Clair, alongside celebrities like Stephen King and Bernie Sanders. Now, Jon Stewart has joined the list, claiming Musk “ghosted” him after challenging the billionaire on The Daily Show over job cuts tied to Musk’s government spending plan.
The feud began in February 2025 when Stewart mocked Musk’s role as head of the Department of Efficiency. Musk responded on X, accusing the show of bias. Stewart invited Musk for an interview, but Musk only agreed if the episode wasn’t aired—hinting at concerns over being misrepresented. Stewart tried to reassure him, joking they could film freely as long as it wrapped before South Park returned.
Recently, Stewart shared on his podcast that Musk never followed up, saying, “I got left on read.” He also mocked Musk’s rumored secret child with St. Clair, adding he had reached out but received no response.
Stewart went further, accusing Musk of dodging accountability and suggesting he’s aligned too closely with Donald Trump. He concluded by calling out the current political climate: “If there’s one thing this administration does best, it’s play the victim.”
