The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to revisit its prior ruling that permits buffer zones around abortion clinics. This decision came despite opposition from two of the court’s most conservative justices.
In two separate orders, the court announced it would not review challenges to laws in Carbondale, Illinois, and Englewood, New Jersey. These laws prevent anti-abortion activists from engaging in “sidewalk counseling” with individuals approaching abortion clinics.
