President Donald Trump announced on Monday that he has decided to remove U.S. Secret Service protection from the adult children of former President Joe Biden. This decision affects both Hunter Biden and his sister, Ashley Biden.
Trump shared the news via a post on Truth Social, highlighting that Hunter Biden had received Secret Service protection for an extended period. He pointed out that there were as many as 18 agents assigned to Hunter’s security detail, calling it excessive.
In his post, Trump declared that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden would no longer receive Secret Service protection. He also revealed that Ashley Biden, who had 13 agents assigned to her security, would lose her protection as well.
This move comes after Trump criticized the large number of agents assigned to the Bidens, questioning the need for such a high level of security for the president’s adult children.
