A bruise on President Donald Trump’s right hand caught attention after his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron. However, the White House quickly explained that the mark was due to Trump’s busy schedule and constant handshaking. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt emphasized that the bruise was simply from his relentless work ethic.

Trump’s hand has shown bruising before, with similar marks appearing in photos from August and November of the previous year. He addressed this issue in a December interview, explaining that the bruising came from shaking hands with “thousands of people.”
Given Trump’s frequent public appearances and rallies, his hands are often in contact with large crowds. Unlike many politicians, he spends hours greeting supporters face-to-face, which likely contributes to the bruising.
Trump’s health has been a topic of discussion due to his age, as he was the oldest president to take office. Despite this, he remains active in his campaign, with his energy and stamina continuing to be a key part of his appeal.
The White House stresses that Trump’s hard work is what causes the bruising on his hand. He continues to keep a packed schedule, showing no signs of slowing down.
