A seasoned Democratic strategist is cautioning his party about closely associating with Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Salvadoran deported last month and described by the Trump administration as an MS-13 member and violent abuser.
On CNN’s The Arena with Kasie Hunt, strategist Mo Elleithee emphasized that Democrats don’t have all the facts about Abrego Garcia and warned against turning him into a “martyr.” Instead, he urged the party to focus on how President Trump is reportedly undermining American rights.
