The White House has released President Donald Trump’s latest medical report, confirming that he remains in excellent health at age 78—making him the oldest president ever sworn into office. The checkup, conducted at Walter Reed Hospital, followed up on his 2023 exam. According to White House physician Capt. Sean Barbabella, Trump has lost 20 pounds since 2020, now weighing 224, and maintains a healthy blood pressure of 128/74. He also passed a neurological exam with no signs of cognitive decline.
The report credited Trump’s active schedule—filled with events, meetings, and golf—for his overall fitness. It also noted a scar from the July 2024 assassination attempt but found no major health concerns otherwise. A recent colonoscopy did reveal diverticulosis and a benign polyp, both considered non-serious.
Trump himself said he has “never felt better,” and continues to manage his health despite ongoing scrutiny over his diet. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that he was not sedated during the checkup, and emphasized that the results prove he remains fully fit to carry out his presidential duties.
