Karmelo Anthony, a 17-year-old student from Frisco Centennial High School, has been charged with first-degree murder after the death of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf. The incident occurred on April 2, 2025, at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco, Texas, following a fight during a track meet. Metcalf was stabbed during the altercation and later died from his injuries despite attempts to save him. His twin brother, Hunter, tried to intervene but was unable to prevent the tragedy. Anthony’s father defended him, stating that his son was not the aggressor. Metcalf, a talented student and football player, was remembered with love by his family and community. The event has left both families and the Frisco community deeply shaken.
