A strip club in Michigan, Miceli’s Corner in Harrison, faced backlash from local residents after posting a sign that humorously advertised job openings for new high school graduates. The sign read that the club was looking for “gorgeous, confident, and talented women that can own the dance floor,” without specifying age requirements, but it was clearly aimed at recent graduates.

The sign quickly went viral, drawing widespread criticism from the local community, who felt the message was inappropriate for young girls. Lisa Mulholland, a local resident, expressed her concern, stating that the sign sent the wrong message to high school graduates. She also mentioned that while she had no problem with the club itself, the sign was in poor taste, adding that graduates should focus on going to college.

Another local resident, Lisa Dickerson, shared a similar view, stating that it was “sickening” for high school graduates to be encouraged to take their clothes off for money.
The club did not respond to phone calls about the sign but issued an official apology through WNEM, explaining that the sign was meant to be a joke and they never intended to offend anyone.

Miceli’s Corner, which has been in business since the 1970s, describes its atmosphere as “mild and welcoming,” where visitors can listen to modern music and enjoy entertainment that helps take their minds off daily troubles.
