TikTok creator Kanah Flex went viral after humorously sharing his experience with a hair transplant, joking that the post-surgery swelling made him look like “an alien.” He clarified that he didn’t go to Turkey for the procedure, but had it done locally in Wembley, Kenton, and Harrow.
Kanah explained that his hairline was fine, but the crown needed attention. He had 4,000 grafts, or about 8,000 hairs, transplanted from the donor area at the back of his head. The procedure involved several anesthetic injections, which left him numb and feeling swelling like a balloon.
Despite the swelling, which made his head noticeably enlarged, Kanah laughed off the comparison to Will Ferrell’s Megamind. Dr. Emrah Cinik, a hair transplant specialist, confirmed that swelling is common after surgery and usually fades in a few days. Kanah reassured his followers that the swelling was already going down and encouraged anyone considering the procedure to “trust the process.”
