5-Year-Old Hero Tries to Save Family From Electrical Fire

Five-year-old Noah Woods heroically saved his family from an electrical fire on February 9, 2020. Waking up to flames in his bedroom, Noah quickly grabbed his two-year-old sister, Lilly, and escaped through the window. He then ran to his uncle’s house to get help. His actions alerted the rest of the family, and all nine members were safely evacuated. Noah sustained a small burn on his wrist, but no one else was injured. The Bartow County Fire Department recognized him with an honorary firefighter title and a Lifesaving Award. A GoFundMe was set up to help the family recover from the fire, as their home was destroyed. Noah’s quick thinking likely saved their lives.
